Victoria Nicole Sánchez Rodríguez was born in Ocumare del Tuy, Venezuela. Fia — full name Fia-Marie Lin — was born in Shanghai, but grew up in Berlin, where she now lives with her family. Her younger sister Emilia is at the center of her story. Emilia was born unable to speak, and rather than accept that as a barrier, Fia learned sign language so she could share songs with her.

It became a way of life — and now, a part of her music.

Outside of singing, Fia’s a pretty typical kid. She loves swimming, dancing, climbing, listening to K-pop, and hanging out with her two pet rabbits: Simba and Puschel.

A Voice — and a Message — on National TV

Fia auditioned for Season 11 of The Voice Kids Germany in 2023. She stood alone on that big stage, sang “Flashlight,” and signed every lyric. You could hear the shift in the room — the coaches leaned in, visibly emotional. Lena Meyer-Landrut was in tears.
